Bridging Communication Styles Across Generations to Build Stronger Teams

Today’s workplaces often include multiple generations working side-by-side, each bringing different communication styles, expectations, experiences, and perspectives to the table. While these differences can create challenges, they also offer opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and stronger organizational culture.

This interactive training will help participants better understand generational communication preferences, reduce misunderstandings, strengthen collaboration, and create more inclusive and effective workplace relationships across teams, volunteers, and leadership levels.

Participants will leave with practical tools for navigating communication differences and fostering stronger intergenerational teamwork.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize common communication preferences and workplace expectations across generations

  • Identify how generational differences can impact teamwork, feedback, leadership, and collaboration

  • Develop strategies for improving communication across age groups

  • Build more inclusive and adaptable communication practices within their organization
