Meet Your Trainer:
Laura Gale, EdD, LCSW, is the founder of Common Cause Grants & Consulting. She brings over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, combining a career in clinical social work practice, executive nonprofit leadership, and higher education. Her work spans mental health, social services, and graduate-level teaching in grant writing, program development, clinical practice, and social policy.
Laura started Common Cause to bring everything she’s learned, from the front lines of direct service to the boardrooms of nonprofit leadership, to support small nonprofits. Having led teams, built programs, and taught future nonprofit leaders, she understands how complex and demanding this work can be.
Laura holds a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California and is a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Long Beach, California.
