Douglas Yost is the Chief Executive Officer of Florence Crittenton of Orange County and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience serving children, young adults, and families.
As a leader in the human services field, Douglas is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to people facing significant challenges. His work is grounded in the belief that strong relationships and supportive communities help individuals heal, grow, and thrive. He is especially passionate about partnering with the next generation as they overcome adversity and build healthier, more promising futures.
Douglas earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Growth and Development and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University. He is currently a doctoral candidate in Organizational Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University, where his dissertation research examines the factors that influence leadership and followership courage within organizations.
Drawing on his experience as a therapist, executive, and organizational leadership scholar, Douglas brings a distinctly human-centered perspective to leadership. His approach integrates transformational and servant leadership practices, emphasizing collaboration, courage, and the empowerment of team members to create meaningful organizational and community impact.
