This Emergency Preparedness Training Series is presented by OneOC in partnership with the American Red Cross and made possible through funding from the Edison International Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness Grant.
In a cardiac emergency, immediate action can make the difference between life and death. This interactive Hands-Only CPR training, led by trained and certified American Red Cross volunteers, teaches participants the essential skills needed to respond confidently to a sudden cardiac arrest.
During this session, participants will learn how to recognize the signs of cardiac arrest, assess responsiveness, call 911, and perform continuous chest compressions until professional help arrives. Through demonstrations and hands-on practice, attendees will gain practical experience and confidence in responding to a life-threatening emergency.
This course is designed to increase community preparedness and empower more people to take action when every second counts. Please note that this is an awareness and skills-building course and does not provide CPR certification.
