Learning Objectives:

  • Learn the fundamentals of effective training, including methods to engage participants and enhance their learning experience.

  • Identify and accommodate various learning styles and preferences to create an inclusive training environment.

  • New Trainers – Individuals who are new to delivering training or educational sessions within a nonprofit setting.

Meet your Trainers:

Julie Stahl:

Julie, is a Training Specialist for Hoag Hospital/Hoag Clinic. I have been training for a little over 20 years, mostly in the retail business and for the last 2 years in healthcare. I have a Master’s in Education and School Psychology and have always loved helping people learn.

 

I live in Newport Beach with my husband and two “fur babies”, miniature schnauzers, Lilo and Stitch.  I love hiking and being outside with them. In my spare time you will find me in the mountains on some random trail in the middle of nowhere.

 

Jennifer Campbell

Jennifer, MSN, RN, NI-BC, is the lead education coordinator at Hoag Clinic, where she supports training across 20+ specialties and nearly 80 clinics in Orange County. A nurse with 20 years of experience, Jen has worked in emergency care, professional development, and virtual education design. She holds a Master’s in Health Informatics and is board certified in Nursing Informatics.

Jen lives in Huntington Beach with her husband and two kids. She enjoys skiing, cheering at sports games, going to the beach, serving at church, and attending book club events.
