November 17, 2013 – Irvine – Itchy legs and dirty shoes are a small price to pay for a good lesson learned, as far as Loretta Goltara is concerned. Goltara, of San Clemente, spent Sunday afternoon with her husband and two small children picking tomatoes for the Second Harvest Food Bank at the Incredible Edible Park.“We wanted to teach our kids how lucky they are. Goltara, along with nearly 40 other parents and children, volunteered at the Irvine garden as part of OneOC’s Family Volunteer Day festivities.
OneOC is a nonprofit organization that works with business and other nonprofit groups to organize volunteer projects throughout Orange County.
