Fundraising and the Law Fall 2019
The Public Law Center of Orange County is partnering with OneOC for this exclusive workshop on Fundraising and the Law. In the nonprofit world, fundraising is as inevitable as death and taxes in the for-profit world. This session spells out the IRS' and some of the CA-specific rules, including sales tax, registration with the Attorney General, record keeping and receipt requirements, required disclosures and more! Make sure you do not get yourself into trouble by accident or by negligence. Know the laws and regulations; stay compliant!
