Saturday & Sunday, November 17-18, 2012
As part of OneOC’s five days of service, Family Volunteer Day is a national service day, designed to demonstrate the power of families volunteering together and an opportunity to introduce community service. Celebrated annually the week before Thanksgiving, this Day “kicks offs” the holiday season of service. Throughout the holiday season, OneOC will sponsor county-wide service projects and toolkits that not only engage volunteers of all ages, but participate in projects that support our local nonprofits, schools, veteran organizations as well as celebrate our American Family heroes.
