SANTA ANA, California, November 2, 2010 -- OneOC (formerly Volunteer Center Orange County) and 2-1-1 Orange County’s annual Holiday Directory can help you find meaningful opportunities to ring in the holidays and help our neighbors in need.

A comprehensive guide to holiday volunteer opportunities, agency wish lists, and services offered to the community, the directory is distributed to thousands of volunteers, nonprofits and community members.

With over 50 nonprofit holiday projects, and adding more daily, there is something for everyone.

“I have used OneOC’s Holiday Directory for the past few years. The directory is easy to navigate and it’s a fantastic way to find volunteer opportunities for groups and individuals. Not only am I able to locate volunteer opportunities for our employees, but I can suggest activities for individuals and families looking to do extra volunteer work around the holidays,” reports Sarah Middleton, Manager of Community Outreach for PIMCO.

This year’s Holiday Directory is sponsored by Bank of America, The Allergan Foundation, Wells Fargo, Peter and Michele Duncan, Michelle Jordan and Billy Owens, Mark and Tina Tillotson, Sheryl and Ken Vaughan, Heather Herd, Esq. & Rutan & Tucker LLP, Scott and Cheryl Tempel, Chris and Susan Meyer, Roger and Mary Fryer.
